TRANSFORM
Life wants to be moved
We live in a time of constant change. Rigid structures are being broken down, giving rise to new ones.
Change brings both opportunities and risks. The artist Petra Polli has developed a concept that explores change and the associated transformation.

In the Herrengarten, right in the center of Brixen, a green neon sign runs from west to east. The word "TRANSFORM" carries a universal message here. Green is the color of hope, symbolizing the opportunity inherent in every change. Every change involves a disruption; this disruption can be sharp and abrupt or smooth and barely noticeable.
In the Stiftsplatz of Neustift, located in the heart of Neustift Abbey, wooden pallets are stacked to form an installation. Contrary to their original function, they are immobile and rigid here. Red LED scrolling texts are attached to them. Words implying positive aspects of change glide over the pallets in five different languages.
The third location is the Fortezza Fortress. Throughout its history, the fortress has served various functions and has itself been subject to constant change. On a prominently visible fortress wall, the phrase "LIFE WANTS TO BE IN MOTION" is projected using a large spotlight. This statement concludes the three installations and encapsulates the fundamental concept.
